Participants (when selected) also pay:

  •  500 excl. VAT of marketing and communication fee
  • € 100 excl. VAT of catalogue fee

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITION SPACES

PROJECT SPACES (Main Hall)

Project Spaces represent 6 exhibition spaces in the Main Hall among the regular stands. The Project Spaces are provided free of charge by the Foundation Rotterdam Contemporary to the participating galleries of RC Art Fair. Project Spaces are intended for galleries participating at the fair to exhibit an artist, giving him/her extra attention. To apply for a free Project Space the application for a Regular, Emerging or Solo Show stand has to be submitted beforehand. The submission for the free Project Space can be submitted later after the application of the stand. The organisation will select 6 projects with the help of the selection committee. Project Spaces are:

  • white platforms of 2.40 x 2.40 m2 and 10cm high
  • lit from above
  • two additional walls of 2.40 x 2.70m (single-sided) can be placed extra if needed for the project
  • every Project Space presentation will have an information sign next to the work and will get two pages in the catalogue

Application proposal for Project Spaces including CV of proposed artist, image of artwork and presentation description should be sent to apply@rcartfair.com (subject name Project Spaces Application). The images should have the following name: Gallery name_artist name_title of the work_year_material/technique_dimensions.jpg and should be 300 dpi

NO WALLS expo (Rotterdam Hall)

NO WALLS expo represents a highly curated exhibition for sculptural and installation artworks without the supporting framework of walls. The exhibition covers 250m2 and is located in the centre of the Rotterdam Hall. The exhibition represents the contrasts between the traditional white cube aesthetics of an art fair and the secluded black box theme of the show itself by stimulating and promoting contemporary curatorial practices. Anybody can apply by paying the registration fee of € 100 excl. VAT per artist and filling out the application form online. The applicant can submit max. of 2 artworks.

DESIGN SECTION (Main Hall)

Curated Design section is located in the Main Hall next to the sensational window area of the World Trade Center. The works of national and international designers, platforms, established and emerging brands will represent the podium intended to highlight the best of what contemporary design has to offer. Anybody can apply by paying the registration fee of € 100 excl. VAT per artist and filling out the application form online.
